A Full Redesign, Migration & SEO Strategy Driving Top Rankings and Ticket Sales

The Background

Queensberry Promotions, one of the UK’s leading boxing event promoters, partnered with us with two clear objectives:

  1. Redesign and migrate their website for higher conversions, and
  2. Build an SEO foundation capable of ranking for the most competitive boxing ticket and event keywords in the UK.

Their existing site wasn’t optimised for search or conversions. Navigation was unclear, critical landing pages were missing, and search demand wasn’t reflected in the site structure. As a result, visibility for high-intent keywords, especially those tied directly to ticket sales, was far below where it needed to be.

They needed a complete transformation:
✔ A strategic redesign
✔ A seamless migration
✔ A scalable SEO framework built for long-term growth

And they needed it fast.

Keyword Strategy: Capturing High-Intent Searches That Drive Ticket Sales

For an event-driven business, ranking for transactional keywords is everything. We focused on terms directly related to ticket purchases, upcoming fight discovery, and fighter specific interest.

Primary transactional keywords included:

We also built out individual fighter pages, each optimised for a crucial visibility play, as fans consistently search by name when seeking fight info or tickets.

This keyword strategy allowed us to capture multiple user journeys:
🔍 Users searching by event
📍 Users searching by location
🏟️ Users searching by venue
🥊 Users searching by fighter

The Campaign: A Full Website Rebuild, Migration & SEO Overhaul

01

Strategic Site Architecture: Built for UX, SEO, and Conversions

The first step was designing a site structure that aligned with how fans actually search.

Our research showed users commonly search by:
✔ Location
✔ Venue
✔ Specific fighters
✔ Upcoming events

To match this behaviour, we built a comprehensive structure including:

  • Location-based event pages
  • Venue-based event pages
  • Individual fighter pages
  • Dedicated event pages for each upcoming fight
  • A fully optimised Tickets hub targeting our main ticket keywords

This structure ensured every commercial search intent had a dedicated landing page ready to convert.

While design progressed, our content team continued writing the remaining pages.
By the end of Month 1, the site launched with:

✔ Full redesign
✔ Full migration
✔ 44 brand-new, SEO-optimised pages
✔ Complete URL restructuring
✔ Fully optimised metadata
✔ New H1/H2 frameworks
✔ FAQ schema

Each month we deliver a mix of:
✔ New SEO driven blogs
✔ Refreshes of outdated content
✔ Periodic technical audits to maintain performance

Strategic Authority Building Through Event-Driven Link Acquisition

In the live events industry, credibility and visibility often hinge on how widely a brand is referenced across relevant communities. To strengthen Queensberry Promotions’ authority and ensure their event and ticket pages gained the trust signals needed to rank for highly competitive terms, we deployed a targeted link acquisition strategy.

Instead of generic outreach, we focused on building connections within the sports ecosystem.

This approach helped solidify Queensberry’s position as a recognised authority within the boxing landscape, contributing directly to their rise into top 1–3 positions across core terms like boxing tickets, 5v5 boxing, and boxing events UK.
