ClickSlice was founded by Joshua George in 2016. Joshua noticed a growing trend of companies who were frustrated with so called “SEO agencies” who kept underdelivering the simplest of marketing campaigns.

The KPIs were wrong, the reporting was all over the place and quite frankly it was a waste of time and money.

When It All Began

After shutting down his eBay business, Josh launched STEM Media. He carried over everything he had learned over the years and began offering businesses in and around London 5 different digital marketing services.

After an invaluable year of running Stem Media, Josh decided to rebrand and focus on what we knew best – SEO. In 2017, Stem Media rebranded to ClickSlice, and rather than offering 5 services, SEO became our bread and butter.

We Expanded Our Team

After just one year as an SEO agency, we achieved far more than we could have imagined. By early 2018, we were firing on all cylinders and started to invest heavily into growing our SEO team. Our new team members quickly became invaluable, and by the end of 2018, ClickSlice was well on its way to becoming one of the leading SEO agencies in London.

Following a steady three years of growth, Covid hit out of nowhere. Unlike most SEO agencies, during the most uncertain year of our existence, ClickSlice grew by 192%. We also laid off zero members of our team, which is something we couldn’t be more proud of. This was the stepping stone we needed to know that ClickSlice is here to stay.

The Launch of Our Brand New Website

After four booming years as an SEO agency, we decided to invest in a brand website. We also made the decision to expand our offering to include SEO training and courses as well as offer our renowned SEO services to US and Canada-based businesses. For the rest of the year, we kept our heads down and kept delivering the best results for our clients.

After years of transforming our client’s businesses, ClickSlice finally started to get the recognition it deserved. ClickSlice was not only featured in Forbes magazine and Entrepreneur.com, but the British Government also hired Josh.

He spent a whole day with their digital team and provided them with invaluable face-to-face SEO training. In 2022, we also expanded our service and started to offer Paid Search.

2023

We are Excellent!!

It’s fair to say that 2023 was our best and most chaotic year to date. The team and the agency grew at a rapid rate (both in terms of team members and clients).

In September 2023, Josh had a talk at BrightonSEO – From Search to Sale: How to Leverage Your Category Pages. It was a big success, and Josh had this to say about his experience – “It was awesome, and it’s something I’d definitely like to be a part of again in the future.”

BrightonSEO also brought our team together and allowed us to meet in person for the very first time. We ate some delicious food, talked SEO, took a ton of pictures, and are now looking forward to our second in-person meet-up in 2024.

A few days after BrightonSEO, Josh (our CEO) and Iulia (our Operations Director) attended the Technology For Marketing And ECommerce Expo. We even had our very own booth, which gave us the opportunity to speak to hundreds of amazing people, some of whom are now our clients.
